Leadership, Friendship and Service are the three cardinal principles of Alpha Phi Omega. The following paragraphs will explain how we exemplify each principle in our day-to-day activities.
Leadership
Alpha Phi Omega provides its members with many leadership opportunities. While any active brother can be elected to one of our eleven executive positions, members who do not hold an official position are still able to show leadership through chairing service projects, organizing membership events, or merely leading through example.
Friendship
Friendship is also a very important part of Alpha Phi Omega. Many of our members find their closest friends through this fraternity. Our many social events held throughout the semester (eg formal, bonfire, IM sports) ensure that we are a close-knit and united brotherhood.
Service
Service is an extremely vital aspect of our organization. Nearly everything we do as a brotherhood is with the ultimate goal of helping others. Whether we are helping the school by cleaning up campus, providing food to the less-fortunate in our community, or raising money to help sick children all over the world, Alpha Phi Omega values service of every kind. |
